Blade: Single edged blade of hand forged and clay hardened 1095 high carbon steel, polished and etched to bring out the hamon, and honed to a fine edge.

Handle: The handle is hand carved poplar burr wood.

Mounts: The bolster is 6000 year old English bog oak, carved with geometric motifs and fitted with copper spacers.

Sheath: The blade is housed in a tooled leather scabbard with a copper suspension ring.
