Blade: Single edged blade of hand forged and clay hardened 1095 high carbon steel, polished and etched to bring out the hamon, and honed to a fine edge.

Handle: The fileworked frame handle is fitted with 6000 year old English bog oak scales, with polished nickel silver escutcheons and steel pins.

Mounts: The blade has a sculpted nickel silver collar, and the scales have been fitted with folded nickel silver bolsters. The butt of the handle is surrounded with a sculpted nickel silver frame.

Sheath: The blade is housed in a laminated wood scabbard, covered in goatskin, with a nickel silver chape and locket, a bog oak throat, and a steel Sam Browne stud.
