Blade: 7" double edged blade of differentially hardened 1075 high carbon tool steel, polished and etched to bring out the hardening line and honed to a very fine edge. Handle and Mounts: The handle has been hand turned from Bubinga, and fitted with a hammered brass ferrule. The guard and threaded pommel nut have been sculpted from mild steel and oil blued, framed with fileworked brass washers. Sheath: The blade is housed in a laminated millboard scabbard covered with fine pigskin leather, and mounted with a copper locket and chape. There is also a laced cowhide frogged beltloop.
