Blade: Single edged blade of hand forged and clay hardened 1095 high carbon steel, polished and etched to bring out the hamon, and honed to a fine edge.

Handle: The full tang handle has been fileworked and fitted with hand carved curly maple scales, secure by copper rivets over sculpted brass washers.

Mounts: The bolsters and bridge are sculpted steel, secured with a hand forged and carved steel nagel in the form of a raised right hand.

Sheath: The blade is protected by a wet moulded and tooled scabbard, which houses a by-knife made in the same manner.
