Blade: Single edged blade of hand forged and clay hardened 1095 high carbon steel, polished and etched to bring out the hamon, and honed to a fine edge.

Handle: The handle is Highland Red Deer stag’s antler, with a carved knotwork motif.

Mounts: The bolster is 6000 year old English bog oak, with copper spacer and butt plate.

Sheath: The blade is housed in a wet formed leather scabbard with a copper suspension ring.
